Electrical insulation: Selected where dielectric isolation is part of the requirement. The applicable grade data is confirmed per specification. Mechanical use: Used where the laminate also carries mechanical and fastening loads in an insulating assembly. Dimensional consistency: Sheet-based parts where fit and dimensional consistency matter in the assembly. Environment: Behaviour depends on the commercial grade and the operating conditions. Suitability is confirmed against the manufacturer's data for the specified grade. Machining: Cut and machined with methods suited to glass-reinforced laminate.
Electrical insulation components: Insulating plates, barriers and mounting parts in electrical assemblies. Control and distribution equipment: Insulation and support parts inside electrical equipment and control assemblies. Spacers, supports and mounting plates: Machined parts that position and isolate components. Machined parts from sheet: Components produced from laminate sheet to drawing or existing part.
